GETTING TO BANDUNG

VISA REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER INDONESIA.

Everyone will need a Tourist Visa to enter Indonesia, this is available on arrival at Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta airport (CGK) via the VOA (Visa on Arrival), this can also be done before you travel and recommended.

In addition to your Tourist Visa, you will now also need to complete an Arrival Card Submission, this can only be done within 3 (three) days prior arrival in Indonesia, this can also be completed on the official site.

The Visa will be valid for 30 days, best apply a few days before your departing for Indonesia. Cost is around $35 USD.

OPTION 3

Scenic Rail to Bandung - Argo Parahyangan Panoramic

The other option by rail is the longer scenic route. This ride takes 3 hours, starting at Gambir Railway Station, 30 + minutes from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport it makes its way to Bandung Station traveling through 4 stations, Jatinegara, Bekasi, Purwakarta and Cimahi. The most scenic part of the ride is about 1 hour out of Bandung when you will see spectacular bridges, waterfalls, terraced rice fields, deep river valleys etc. On the Jakarta to Bandung journey, both sides of the train have nice views.

TRANSPORT OPTIONS TO ACCOMODATION ON ARRIVAL

OPTION 1

Shuttle Van Direct to Hotel

Arrival at Jakarta airport option - We have a dedicated shuttle van to take us direct to hotel, shuttle bus leaves every hour based on 6 to 8 occupants approx. (depending on luggage) travel time is 2.5 to 3 hour duration. If travelling alone we will attempt to group arrivals so you can travel direct to hotel, you may have to wait a short time.

If travelling individually we will attempt to group arrivals so you can travel direct to hotel. With arrival at Jakarta we will arrange a person with sign to guide you to bus *company name*

OPTION 2

High-Speed Rail to Bandung

Take bluebird taxi, see signs front of Airport, don’t take random touts. Approx. 1 hour to (Halim station) purchase ticket for whoosh train, destination Padalarang. Train runs every 30 minutes and travel time approx. 35minutes.

Earliest departure being 06:25 and the latest departure 21:25 and cost $22USD approx.

We will run a shuttle from Padalarang station to Hotel approx. 30 minutes travel time. Total approx. time 2.5hours.

TRANSPORT TO AIRPORT or TRAIN STATION FOR DEPATURE

We will have van/s or buses available on your departure day to take you either directly to the airport or to the train station for you to catch the Fast Train from Bandung.
